Blended with a splash of lime and a hint of native rivermint, it’s bright, juicy and unapologetically refreshing - like slamming down your favourite icy pole on a stinking-hot Christmas arvo. The Hero Ingredient

Our blueberries come from Costa Berry Farm in Neergabby, WA - just up the road from Gingin in WA’s coastal farming belt. These berries were too small, too soft, or even too big for supermarket shelves, but just right for us. For the second year running, our friends at Remondis WA - the legends in waste recovery and resource management - connected us with this “wasted” fruit to craft our Christmas release. We rescued over 250 kg (more than 2,000 punnets!) from going to waste, turning them into something far more festive. Bursting with colour, flavour and good energy, it’s proof that the odd ones out often make the best stuff.

How we made it

This one’s all about the blueberries. We started with lime husks rescued from our mates at Pressed Earth Juices, along with fresh native rivermint, and distilled them together into a grape-based spirit made from upcycled Barossa Valley wine grape skins. The botanicals were vapour-infused to capture bright, fresh flavours without any bitterness. That spirit was then diluted with RO-filtered water and infused with the rescued blueberries for 7 days before a light filtration and bottling. Simple, sustainable, and seriously good.

We love a double shot of Berry Christmas Vodka with 150 ml of your favourite lemonade and a handful of frozen blueberries. Or, for something with a touch of spice and a refreshing kick, try it in this classic cocktail - it’s got Christmas written all over it.

Blueberry Mule

  • 60ml Berry Christmas Vodka
  • 10ml Lime Juice
  • 120ml Ginger Beer

Add all ingredients to a tall glass filled with ice. Give it a quick stir, then garnish with a lime wedge and a blueberry skewer. Spicy, refreshing, and unmistakably festive.
